Competitions
One of the main aims of the British Culinary Federation is to encourage and support young chefs to strive for excellence within their chosen profession.
These competitions are designed for young chefs to demonstate their culinary skills and talent.
British Culinary Federation Chef of the Year 2010

Competitors are asked to prepare, cook and present a three-course meal for two covers in two hours. The starter must include fish, the main course English Beef, while the dessert can be of the competitors choice.

The Competition is structured into two parts. Firstly, the written entry which will be paper judged. The second part of the competition will be to produce a 3-course meal for two persons within a period of 2 hours.
British Culinary Federation Challenge Cook and Serve Team
sponsored by Brakes Fresh Ideas
The competition format requires a team of two chefs and one waiter, to produce and serve a 3-course menu within a period of 90 minutes.
